Join Pak Army Online Registration Steps 2026
Registration is the part of the process candidates get wrong most often — wrong entry selected, mismatched CNIC details, an oversized photo, or a slip that was never printed. This walkthrough covers every field on the official portal, the documents you need ready before you start, and how to fix the errors that block submission.
Where to apply
joinpakarmy.gov.pk
Never pay an agent or a 'registration centre' for online registration. The portal is free and the Army does not appoint intermediaries for applications.
Get these ready before you open the portal
Having files prepared prevents the timeouts and rejections most candidates hit.
CNIC or B-Form
Your name, father's name and date of birth must be typed exactly as printed on your CNIC or B-Form. A mismatch here is checked at the centre and can end your application.
Academic results
Matric and (where required) Intermediate marks, roll numbers, board name and passing year. Result-awaiting candidates should keep their roll number slip handy.
Scanned photograph
A recent passport-size photograph with a plain background, saved as JPG within the size limit the portal states. Resize before uploading rather than retrying repeatedly.
Domicile & contact details
District and domicile, a working mobile number and an email address you actually check — call letters and test dates are communicated through both.
Registration, step by step
The portal flow from account creation to printed slip.
1. Open the official portal
Go to joinpakarmy.gov.pk and select 'Register / Apply Online'. Confirm the address in your browser bar — clone sites appear every cycle around registration windows.
2. Create your account
Register with your CNIC or B-Form number, mobile number and email. Verify through the code sent to you and note your login details; you will return to this account for your test and ISSB call letters.
3. Choose your entry
Select the entry you are eligible for — PMA Long Course, AFNS, Lady Cadet Course, Technical Cadet, Soldier, Clerk, Cook, Technician and so on. Read the eligibility panel before confirming; the entry cannot usually be changed after submission.
4. Fill personal and academic details
Enter your name, parentage, date of birth, domicile and academic record exactly as on your documents. Enter marks obtained and total marks carefully — the portal computes your percentage from them.
5. Upload your photograph
Upload the scanned passport-size photo within the stated dimensions and file size. If the upload fails, reduce the file size rather than changing the image.
6. Select your selection centre
Choose the Army Selection & Recruitment Centre nearest to you. Your initial test will be held there, so pick a centre you can reach comfortably on the given date.
7. Review, submit and print
Check every field on the review screen, submit, then download and print your registration slip. Keep a PDF copy and take the printed slip with your originals to the centre.
Common registration errors and how to fix them
Almost every failed submission comes from one of these.
You (or someone using your number) already created an account. Use the login or password-recovery option instead of registering again.
Type details exactly as printed on your CNIC or B-Form, including spelling and initials. Fix NADRA records first if your documents disagree with each other.
Compress or resize the JPG to meet the stated pixel and KB limits. Use a plain light background and a straight, recent, front-facing photo.
Confirm you entered marks obtained and total marks in the correct fields, and used the total for the full certificate rather than a single part.
Read the entry's education, age, gender and marital-status conditions before submitting. Contact the helpline listed on the portal if you submitted the wrong entry.
Log back into your account and download the slip from your dashboard. Do not report to a centre without it.
What to do after you register
The gap between registration and your test date is your preparation window.
Start initial-test practice immediately
Verbal and non-verbal intelligence, English, maths and general knowledge. Six focused weeks is usually enough, but only if you start on registration day rather than after the call.
Begin physical training
Running, push-ups, sit-ups and chin-ups from day one. The physical test follows the written test almost immediately at the same centre.
Assemble your document file
Registration slip, CNIC/B-Form, academic certificates, domicile and photographs — originals plus photocopies in one folder.
Pre-empt medical issues
Get your eyesight, dental health, weight-for-height and any old injuries checked privately so fixable problems do not surface at the military hospital stage.
Watch your portal and phone
Test dates, centre changes and call letters arrive through your portal account, SMS and email. Check all three at least twice a week.
Ignore unofficial 'help'
No agent can influence selection. Any request for payment in exchange for registration, a test date or selection is fraudulent — report it.

Frequently asked questions
How do I register online for Pak Army in 2026?
Open joinpakarmy.gov.pk, create an account with your CNIC or B-Form number, mobile and email, verify it, select the entry you are eligible for, fill your personal and academic details exactly as on your documents, upload a passport-size photograph, choose your nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Centre, submit and print your registration slip.
Is Pak Army online registration free?
Yes. Registration on the official portal is free of charge. The Army does not appoint agents or private registration centres, so any demand for payment to register or to secure a test date is fraudulent.
What documents do I need for Pak Army registration?
Your CNIC or B-Form, Matric and (where required) Intermediate result cards or certificates, domicile, a recent scanned passport-size photograph, a working mobile number and an email address.
Can I register while my FSc result is awaited?
Many intakes allow result-awaiting candidates to register and submit the final result by a later deadline, but the condition is restated in each advertisement. Check the current entry conditions on the portal before registering.
What is the last date for Pak Army online registration?
Each intake has its own short registration window announced on joinpakarmy.gov.pk. There is no single annual date — check the portal or your nearest AS&RC, and register early in the window rather than on the closing day.
My CNIC shows as already registered — what should I do?
That means an account already exists against your number. Use the login and password-recovery options on the portal instead of creating a second account, and contact the portal helpline if you cannot recover access.
Can I change my selection centre after registering?
Centre changes are handled by the recruitment centres, not by editing the form, and are allowed only in limited circumstances. Choose the centre you can reach on test day when you register.
What happens after registration?
You are given a test date at your chosen Army Selection & Recruitment Centre. Report with your printed slip and original documents for the initial written test, followed by the physical test, preliminary interview and medical.
