The Punjab Public Service Public Service Commission holds the provincial competitive exam known as the Punjab Public Service Competitive Examination (PPSC) in Punjab to select candidates for the province's various civil services, such as the Punjab Administrative Service, Punjab Revenue Service, Punjab Police, etc. The written portion of the exam is administered first, followed by a personality test (Interview). The entire process takes around a year from when the exam is announced until the final results are announced. Punjab Public Service Commission conducts a combined competitive examination for positions in the Provincial Management Service every year or as needed.
M.Sc. or BS or B.Sc. from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission with three years post-qualification experience in the relevant field from the public or private sector.

Male: 32 years
Female: 35 years
The PPSC State Service Exam comprises three stages. Candidates qualifying in the first stage are considered eligible for the second one. Candidates qualifying for the second stage are considered eligible for the third stage of the PPSC. Candidates are urged to make a note of the exam pattern for better preparation for the exam. The three stages of the PPSC exam are given below:
Only candidates who have qualified for the written examination and fulfill the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview. The interview will contain 150 as the maximum marks. The marks obtained in the interview together with the marks obtained in the written exam will be considered for the final merit list.
An Interview Board consisting of the Chairman and Members of the Commission, as well as an independent expert, will conduct the viva voce test. To interview the candidates, multiple Interview Boards may be put up. When an Interview Board is not led by the Chairman of the Commission, the most senior member serves as Chairman of the Board.
