Why the NUMS Admission Test Matters

If you’re aiming for a seat at renowned medical and dental institutions in Pakistan, the NUMS Admission Test is a pivotal step in that journey. Eligibility

• Who Can Apply?
  • Any student with a minimum of 60% in intermediate/F. Sc can apply for the NUMS.
  • In addition, the student must have a matriculation marks of 60%.
  • Candidates must be Pakistani citizens.
  • Baluchistan local certificate holders may also apply.
  • O/A level students are also eligible to apply.
  • O/A level students must present an IBCC certificate (Inter Board Committee of Chairman).
  • Overseas Pakistanis and others are also eligible to apply for open merit seats in public and private medical and dentistry schools.

Exam Structure & Format

• Subject-Based Paper (150 MCQs | 150 minutes):
  • Biology (40%) ~60 questions
  • Chemistry (25%) ~38 questions
  • Physics (25%) ~37 questions
  • English (10%) ~15 questions
  • Difficulty distribution: 20% Easy, 55% Moderate, 25% Difficult
• Psychological Test (50 MCQs | 30 minutes):
  • Mandatory to qualify, but the score does not add to overall merit.

Note: Merit is based solely on the Subject-Based Paper.

Application Process

1. Online Registration
   • Create an account on the NUMS or PMC portal with valid personal details (full name, CNIC/B-Form, email, and phone number).
   • Pay the exam fee via debit/credit card, bank invoice (challan), or mobile/internet banking.
2. Profile & Document Uploads
   • Passport-size photograph (blue background, no selfies).
   • Clear CNIC/B-Form/Passport image.
3. City & Center Selection
   • Pick two test cities based on your preference. (NUMS reserves the right to assign a different center if seats are filled.)
4. Submission & Confirmation
   • Once the application fee is received and documents are uploaded, submit your form online.
   • No hard copies are required.
